First IS lens I have ever had. I'm sold... I have been using the lens this afternoon as a simple prime, and it's fantastic.

Honestly, my 100mm macro gets used as much as a 100mm prime as much as a macro! I understand the 100 IS Macro is even better than the version it replaced, which starts to put it into the rarefied realm of lenses like the 135/2L, only with IS :-) |

Nice isn't it?
I've been trying to talk myself OUT of the 70-200 2.8L IS II... As I could afford one of the lesser models much easier.. But guess what? That's not going to happen! I'm sure I can't live without the IS II..
Soooo, how long do you think it will take you to replace all of those nice lenses Bear :) j/k... Although I could see you wanting to upgrade that 70-200 now... :)
