Free 8x6 album and free shipping. I placed my order a few hours ago so it's legit.
Pretty good for anyone wishing to test out MyPublisher.com's services. I'm just not 100% sure if the coupon code is a one-time shot or not. Worth a try though.
Edit...I think the coupon is good for tons of people judging by this link..

Done and ordered. I will definitely report on everything about it when it comes in about 10 days.

They have this offer all the time, but never tried it. If it looks nice it may be time to try it. |

Yeah I am going to order one from Shutterfly too, but that's $30 bucks. So I figured I'll get the free one for now and see how I like it. MyPublisher does both 6x8 paperbacks AND regular size hardcover, like Shutterfly. I just want to see how it comes out so I know what to do about it. Im thinking of offering one of these types of books for my wedding sets. :) I think people will like them.

Shutterfly got the EDITORS CHOICE award for best Photo-Printing Service. So it would be cool to get some input on that service also when you receive them. |

USA Today did a write up of FIVE major services that offer them and said Shutterfly stomped the heck out of the other 4, but that MyPublisher wooped Ofoto. In the interest of doing this for real, I'll probly get a test album from each one. :) I just got my dpc test prints today - to test them against Shutterfly. We'll see when I get my Shutterfly ones if DPC whoops it or what. (The USA Today info about Shutterfly layouts is old - they offer as many as MyPublisher now).
(I hope they do!)

I haven't been there yet but read a few of the other posts from that message board. One of them said if you do this book they get all rights to the photos in your book and can sell them or whatever.
Has anyone checked this out?
I will when I get home. Still at work now.

I just received my free 20 pg hardback album today from an earlier offer. It is a well put together album, but the picture quality is less than stellar. It is not as good as a print from Walmart, but better than Target (Target SUCKS). They look a little pixelated to me and my wife. If I would have paid $20 for it, I would not have been happy. |

I guess those reviewers at USAToday must be used to looking at photos on the front page ...
Costco prints (lustre) look good to me. 4x6 = $0.14

The picture quality wasn't BAD, but just don't expect the pictures to look as good as from the lab, or a printer like a Canon i960.
BUT, I would think that a typical grandparent would LOVE one of these albums. |

MyPublisher basically gets permission from you to print the stuff - otherwise they wouldn't even legally be allowed. lol Kinda funny when you think about it. Something like that MUST be in dpcprints agreement - or SHOULD be.
Anyways - I guess I'll see what comes in the mail now. Printed pages won't look LIKE a print but we'll see if it's pixely. I made sure to use all images that were quite large enough. Everything was 200 dpi or higher.
And my audience is future couples, not grandparents, though both have emotional interest in the subject more than technical quality of the paper and image itself. Half couldn't tell an f stop from a bus stop.

Those ROCK. I am going to look into those. THAT is what I was looking for when I found the Shutterfly (and thus MyPub) offer! Nice!
//www.cornerstonealbums.com/ <---THAT is what I want. Just reposting the link so I know which of the 4 for myself later.

I ordered my MyPublisher album on 10/13. Tonight I got a MASS email (no bcc) with a WHOLE lot of email addys showing that we ALL haven't gotten our orders. They are either swamped or HORRIBLE. I can't believe it is supposed to ship in 2 to 3 days and arrive in 5 to 6 for a total of 7 to 9 and 13 later I haven't even heard a word!
Horrid service thus far.

I uploaded and ordered mine on 10/13/04 thanks to this thread. It shipped 10/20/04 and I received it 10/23/04. It's really pretty neat. The quality is OK (I don't have much to compare it with, but I think it's halfway decent). There are a few pictures that really didn't turn out that great but that's my fault for uploading a lower-res pic, not theirs. Overall I'm pleased with it. Especially since it was FREE. Hope yours turns out OK...I had no problems at all. No email from them either, except for my order confirmation and the shipping confirmation. Let us know when yours comes in. :o) |

I ordered one too. I don't even remember the date. But for me, free is worth waiting for :D I'll follow up as well once I get mine.

I ordered mine on the 12 or 13th, the day I saw this thread. I got email saying they sent out the book on Tuesday and I received the book on Wednesday. It is excellent quality. The black and white images are indeed black and white and the images look better than the prints I get at walmart/sams. |

Sounds like you'll have to pay for it this time around though. |

Why? I emailed them for my "legitimate" coupon. I didn't use the codes published online - I got my own. Now it sounds like they're going to give me a "discount" though, not a "free" book. :( Pretty sure I won't be using these guys for any real work.

That's bad...
Since I'm in Canada I had to pay $13 shipping. I hope they'll refund me!

I got an email today saying my book had been shipped (about time, after a month!). I didn't get the one about the coupons despite using the one mentioned in the thread. I had to pay for shipping too but hopefully the book will be worth it.
