What's the big deal? Those are some great Hot Air Balloon shots Darlene!
I have only manged a couple, though they lauch very near me all the time.
This is the only decent one I have still: Found another: LOL

Very nice dartompkins! I especially liked "Aloft in Evening Color" and the smooth texture of the balloon on "Kaleidoscope".

A very beautiful bunch of shots.
I went to the balloon festival at White Sands National Monument a few weeks back and got a few nice shots. When the sun is bright, the white sand makes for very interesting surroundings.

Of all the ones you've posted I feel this one is the best. I love the colours and the triangle formed by the balloons makes for an interesting composition.

This one is the best! Off setting subjects against the background of one of the better sunsets that I've seen in a while works wonderfully!

Thanks TooCool and everyone commenting. Plano Shots are wonderful guys. I just love hot air balloons. I really enjoyed all the unusual angles. Some of those are great journalistic approach photos. I am curious if any of you sold to local papers etc.?
I would be having a pretty crumby photographic week considering my plummeting challenge scores without this balloon festival thread! Thanks to everyone participating. |

I really like the two sunset shots you've posted. The silhouette's work really well against the orange/ blue.
