One of the photography I submitted was selected as a finalist in the august 2004 contest in the category macro and details. Maybe not much an award but I'm proud of it anyway. It's like getting at the 94th percentile in a contest where 14,534 photo where submitted.

Congratulations Nick...nice to see there are other betterphoto users out there. I was also a finalist in August. I know exactly how you are feeling!!!

That is too cute BradP. I have a soft spot for kittens. We currently have 5 of them ranging from 2 - 4 months!
I had posted my finalist photo in another thread, but hey, I'm conceited and happy to show it off again! ;-)

crabappl3 got 2nd place in landscape over at betterphoto for August too with the black and white version of his Road to Denali shot.

| Congratulations Nick and Brad - both of your pictures are really nice. Your apple picture would make a lovely painting, Nick. Your kitten is cute, Brad. Every time I see a cute kitten picture I want to get another kitten even though I already have 4 cats! |

Congrats to all who have been finalist. Congrats Brad on a very good cat shot. I'd love to be able to shoot my cat like this. And a special congratulation to danny who is a 2nd place winner for is truly amazing Road to Denali.
