I started with 5.1 after 25 votes. Now with 125 I am at 5.8, but the math is against me for any more appreciable climb.

However, I am happy for menardsman, bassie and Kiwiness. Those are very impressive numbers and after these many votes you are quite on the way. best of luck to all.

Yay! Still holding up! Don't you just HATE waking up the morning after the challenge begins and checking on the score?? I almost hesitate and do other things before going to dpc .. lol

You are a very high scorer overall and this isn't a bad score in my opinion, although I certainly understand. I just left some comments and I really have to push myself to give any contructive criticism at all since so many get hurt or upset; but I try to because so many people say that is what helps them. I hope I am not the one you upset you.

Somebody believed Imagineer? Did you see anything in this challenge that would qualify for such a sky-high score? Honestly, there were a few that made me want to scrub my eyeballs with a firm toothbrush.

I am learning to grow a thicker skin - I had 2 recent pictures that came in 8th and 14th, but my botany was in the 35% percentile and my nude is at 4.3 right now. I knew my nude had a pretty good chance of being bombed, but of course I secretly hoped others would see some value to it... I've only got 5 comments on both entries combined which is the real bummer.

Oh well, hopefully the Hope challenge will turn it around!

nope Kylie, was not you..... in fact I shouldn't have even bothered to comment.... it's all good, the point is I have 6 great comments and one kinda pointless comment.... and normally I don't go in for complaining as I understand that everyone has a different point of view.....

Well even though comparably I'm doing that great I'm pretty happy. I've never EVER had more than a 5.6 so my 6.16 is making me quite happy. Plus someone chose it as a favorite :) and i have 8 comments which is amazing- at this rate we're all going to get like 45 comments. But, since we all seem to have like 150 or so votes, how high can the voting get? How many members are there?

Thats what I LOVE about challenges that have less than 100 images .. all the comments. I myself plan on commenting on every single image. When you have challenges with like 350 entries .. its just too ehausting and, well kind of impossible to make time to do it.

Me too. Not only am I trying to comment on more images, I'm trying to give more thorough and thoughful comments. It's been a really fun challange from both the participant and voter side for me. Lots of good stuff. :)

I find that when I comment on a picure it usally gows on me and I endup bumping the score up by one or two.

If you have that in the neon competition, you're doing great. It's a pretty low scoring challenge.

Which is exactly where I am in Neon, and close to where I ended up in Botany - good but not great. To be honest, I am disappointed, because I really had myself believing this would break through into the 6's. Looking at some of the entries, and the reading the comments, I am starting to realize what I could have done better. Next time.

Well at the urging of Dr.Jones, I just joined your little family...sadly not soon enough to join this challenge....but I can't wait for the next challenge that is in tune with my interets... that being said, there are a lot of talent artist here.
