gee..when I went away this morning I was on a 6.000 with 67 votes, but America is waking up and finds my photo not worthy more than a 5 boohoo
(maybe it's because of what's ON the picture, that they don't like it that much?? ;) I wouldn't know, I have only had two comments already...)
I'll vote tonight..I saw some incredible nice photos!!!

I was hoping better than that, but I think it's the same think for everyone. Except for those with high scores. At least, like someone said, I am sure to be in the top 100.

I'm not doing as well as I had hoped. Am just under the 6 and thought I'd be just over it. The things that niggled me about the shot seem to niggle others.
Regardless, we like the shot enough that it is going to get framed for the bedroom, and that's what matters :)
What I am finding amusing is usually the number of votes, especially early on, is roughly similar to the number of views. In this challenge I have 100 votes right now and 243 views LOL

I really thought it would do better.
I got one comment from a member who has never ever competed in a challenge, no photos in a portfolio, and has been a member since 2002.
"it doesn't do it for me" looks like I got a 1 from him.
Oh Well :(~

| I'm p****d off... I'm on 5.1, and the comments are pretty immature and tacky. I'm proud of my shot, and think it deserves way more than that. I think it's one of the best shots I've taken yet. I know this gets said a lot here, but I've entered a lot of challenges and have a good idea of what normally works here. I think there's some depth to my photo, and it is going way over people's heads who are looking for calendar/chocolate-box photography. I certainly won't be posting any more nude shots on DPC. You can all see if my attitude is justified when this challenge is over! |

I didn't submit anything, but I was glad to see that for the most part the entries were well thought out and tasteful. I think we've got a few folks on the site who really shined - I can't wait to see who some of the artists behind the prints were when this one ends.

I dislike my last 2 to be honest - not the kind of thing I would put on my wall at all.

Last time I checked I was sitting at 5.3-ish. So far my best entry but of course, I thought I would do a little better than that.
Still, I got a few good comments, so I'm pretty happy so far. |
