this is my typical score. all of my shots are "too busy" and/or "too obtuse". i just document reality as i see it. i've never been a fan of staged shots or forced minimalism - they just seem too fussy for me (living in nyc is (more often than not) a bit gritty ;)
but i enjoy what i do. :)

Number of votes is already much higher than for example June free study. Number of views is exceptional. What was it that made internet big ?

Boy, if you want your work to be seen, you just can't beat this challenge topic! My entry now has 888 views. That is more views than all my previous 10 challenge entries have received, combined! And it's only day 2 of the voting period!

I am getting nice comments, mostly positive and someone gave me a 10 thank you for that
But a terrible score non the less for just being creative!
Definately the brown one for me
Maybe it should be the WHITE flag!LOL!

yep from montreal, and I consider Dr.Jones to me my mentor, so my style may resemble his some...however, he's a proponent of the 70-200 lens...while I enjoy the 16-35lens... and I use HotLights (HMI pars) and he works with flash.so the end results, altought similar in nature will vary technically. |

Sure is fun getting all of these comments! I'm getting some I really wasn't expecting. It's interesting seeing what various people read into the same image, and the various subtleties that are noticed and interpreted so differently :)
Score still sucks, but I've done worse so far. |

Hmmm, only 88 submissions, but already 231 votes & 693 views. I got more votes on this in 1 day then Botany for the whole week. Scores about normal for me. Was hoping this would do better:

No I did not enter, firstly 'cause I'm absolutly new here...and second because I had nothing to enter...however...I am hopfull for the futur! Why did you say that I would be confusing the voting pool??
