:)

I agree but I don't want a photograph on the card itself...

John I decided to take you up on your challenge. I know you only wanted 2 colors but I really think you should consider my design. I has 5 colors but I think you'll agree it's worth the extra printing cost. You'll have the most badassest card of all the photographers in Hickory. Please email me for my mailing address for the prints.

Thank you for your consideration.

Too much hair.

Too thin... lol

Got these today... I like this design quite a bit :)

I like the simplicity there, but I don't think people will look at that and say "Photographer." It looks too much like a gun sight (top) or a nautical symbol(bottom). The camera ones posted earlier were nice, maybe with a reversed color scheme (solid color camera with white JMS overlaid instead of just the outlined camera with text)

edit: spelling

Not that you asked but I think I like 4 & 6 the best. The logo hints at something photographic in nature and it will scale well to other applications, like letterhead and invoices. Hopefully you'll be printing up lots of invoices!

if i happen to get chosen...it would only be fair to give one of the prints to PROCYN. thats if he picks the one with the camera shape.....WK?

I don't have any use of that kind of print, you may keep both if you win! ;) Not that I don't like the pictures though.. :)

I only submitted my designs for the fun of it, anyone can copy ideas from it.

I like the cluttered look.

Didn't really work on it much, but thought a graphic look would be nice for the restrictions you placed on the design.

Speaking as an outsider - this card says "I take photo's", which may or may not be important depending on your audience. For example, if you are targetting wedding couples who will have a fist full of business cards this clarification is important. Whereas if it is a card to include with delivery of prints then it's less important.

This is my favourite so far, with perhaps a base colour change to best reflect the personality / mood of photos you tend to take.

Yes. I don't plan to deal with halftones. It's not really necessary for modern printing processes and it's also not a requirement for small images.

Have sent you another suggestion via email.
It draws on elements presented above but uses them quite differently.

Anyone wishing to win two of my prints is offered the opportunity to plan, design and build an extension to my home. This can incorporate a conservatory or photo studio - it's up to you. I'll even post the prints to you, but you'd better be snappy 'cause I want to entertain some friends soon.

No mess please and cover my TV with a dust sheet.

The designs MUST include the relvant planning permissions (penalty clauses apply). I thank you.
