I was having some personal problems, and decide to relieve a little stress. So, for the chocolate challenge, I decided to go for the brown (aprropriate, I think) I tried to think of the absolute worst image that had nothing to do with chocolate in order to get a huge amount of 1's. I succeeded. I got my 202nd place, and best of all, I got the sixth worst score of all time at DPC.
I am in the burt reynolds gallery!!!
I would like to thank all of those who helped me. My agent, my business manager, David Geffen, and of course Spike Jones.

It's also interesting to see that 10 people gave you 6+. We all wonder about the people who like to give really low scores, but it's just as interesting to wonder why people give high scores to bad images too.

I know, isn't it bizarre. maybe somebody knew what I was up to and tried to twart the effort. Maybe they have one of the lower scores in the burt reynolds gallery, and felt treatened, maybe they really like out of focus pictures of moving ceiling fans streaking because of camera movement. maybe that is exactly what they think of when they think of chocolate.

Maybe they thought you were a creative genius...scoffing at the naysayers who think all chocolate is in shades of brown or white and is a confectionary masterpiece...

Congratulations!
You know, there's a certain charm to the Burt Reynolds Gallery. Some unwittingly stumble into that history, others climb their way to the bottom. Still other run screaming. You've done a Cannonball. And even a cannonball run to the Burt Reynold's gallery deserves a possible sequel!
Again, congratulations on your accomplishment - and massive kudos for the attempt! I hope things are swinging a bit better on your home front!!!
By the way, I love your Three Firefighters image. Definitely not worthy of the Burt - but, that's okay too!!! Good stuff.
Edit: Oklahoma, eh? I went to school in Norman at OU. Kinda miss the oil well ant-things...!

I was hoping to join the club with my objects entry. But then...some silly person comes a long and gives me a pretty good score! grrrrr...Im afraid I'll be hovering above the burt gallery for this one...just barely.

I missed the Brown by one place with my Balance entry. I knew when I submitted it that it was a possible candidate. Not that I didn't think it met the challenge but dead animal shots aren't popular subject matter. I got a lot of interesting, fairly positive comments despite my penultimate place at the bottom.
Now, can I ask, at the risk of exposing myself as being totally out of the loop, what the heck is the Burt Reynolds Gallery? |

I think someone from the site council should go through the images before the voteing starts and DQ the garbage once - there are a enough images to vote on and we don't need this bull to waist our time.
The users with slow connection must hate images like this.
Users doing this for fun should be banned.
