Seeing as i got ninth last time I let you all choose my submission, thought I'd throw it open again :-)
This week's choice is between the one I personally really like, but that might be a bit familiar in style, and the one I think will score best.

Choose the one you like...it's much better than the other one.

Choose the one you think will score best. Post the other one in the forums for all to see. It's a win-win situation that way.

Always submit the one you think will score the best. This is a contest site, and the object is to score the highest. If you are looking for people to praise and critique your "art", there are sites like PhotoPoints and PhotoSig...

Go with the one you think will score best, and post the one you personally like in your portfolio ;)
How does that sound? :P |

Thank you all.

It seems like the advice on this thread is contrary to the advice on the thread I started earlier on the same subject here. I entered the shot I liked better, not the one I thought would score better.

There are actually 14 laurielblacks. They're everywhere, and across every time zone. Just TRY to post an interesting thread without one of them jumping on it first. Why, I've heard stories of simultaneous Laurie posts on 5 different threads, complete with animated icons. You got lucky with Good Laurielblack last time (aka LaurielWhite). Just be sure you don't follow Mischievous Laurielblack to a brown ribbon (not that you're capable of one). Whoops... gotta run! Laurie in PM-ing me, and calling on the phone, and at my door. Hmmm... |

SEEE? That didn't take four minutes. We know from an earlier post that the REAL laurielblack is stuck at her office without access to animated icons. Are you thinking what I'm thinking Pinky...?

But in this case, there isn't an emotional attachment, just an indecision. In which case, I guess you go for the "scorer". Yours was a matter of the heart. Much different! A good difference, I think.

That makes sense. I see the difference now. :-)

Choose the one you think will score best. Then when it doesn't, you can start entering stuff you actually like. Easy as pie.

Or, for that matter, you can start a thread after the challenge demanding to know why so many voters gave it 1's, 2's, or 3's. ;-)
Edit for typo
