Hiya folks, I'm finally back from the Greek islands after a 2 week marathon of non-stop shooting, eating and partying. Shot about 10 GB worth of photos, will look at them tonite and post some on here.

I am looking forward to these! I went to Catalina Island, California, a few weeks ago and I thought it looked like the "poor's man Mediterranean". Will love to see the real thing.

Fantastic simplicity of the color range; perfect for the setting. Bring on more!

I read in the paper that Greece suffered from its worst blackout in years this past week sometime (don't remember what day)...they were worried about it and how it might impact the Olympics...guess there was no problem for you guys! LOL

Although I don't agree with the photo at all, there probably isn't much to be done about it other than to ignore it. It probably falls under freedom of speech. There have been other things on the site including challenge entires that were considered offensive to some.

Bill should be a man and remove the image but if he doesn't we will probably just have to ignore him.

Next time you have to visit Croatian islands, where architecture, beaches, clean water and Sunsets are far better than Greek Islands (which are over-comercialized and overcrowded anyway)

Here are more pictures, more to come later. As usual comments are greatly appreciated.

You are right, I was in the Greek islands way back in 1993 and boy have things ever changed. Uncontrolled development, but you can still find patches of pristine uncrowded beaches and villages frozen in time.

Nothing worth much attention. Someone made an offensive post and it got deleted. In other words, welcome to the Internet. ;-)
