Just don't want to get my hopes up like I did for the Color Studio Portrait challenge. I wore the finish off the update button on that one. ;-)

I'm probably behind C-Town on this one already, and the frequent ribbon winners don't usually post their scores in these threads.

I dunno scalvert. My score has fallen, and continues to fall, slowly but steadily. Aaargh, it's only Tuesday too. No one told me that signing up for this site would literally be torture. And you're right, the winners never seem to post their scores. I'm just hoping to get into the 90th percentile and the comments I've gotten so far have been great : )

I probably gave you a 10, but my one vote just doesn't affect your overall score enough. ;-)

C-town: you should cruise past 90% without any problem. Of course I'm hoping you ribbon, since my avg is higher at the moment. ;-b

To all the discouraged... I just thought of a plan that could put us all in ribbon contention every week! That probably just gave the entire SC and two admins goosebumps. Not to worry- no hacking involved. Just be patient...

I had become discouraged that I fell below 6.0, but when I came home and my wife (who stayed up to show me) pointed out that I had 6 more comments and favorite in the past 8 hours -- I don't care what my score is!

Well, ok -- maybe I care just a little.

But the best part is that I know who added my photo to their favorites, he told me in his comment. And since, in my opinion, he is one of the best photographers on the sight for creating images that reach out and smack you upside the head with their emotional content; getting glowing praise, added as a favorite and selected me as his choice for blue ... Well, let's just say I am bouncing off the walls. Or at least I would be if I could move that much after a long, hard, hot evening at work.

Thanks for telling me you added my photo to your favorites, with the glitch in the system and the rate I get favorites, it could have been a very long time before I found out who added my photo if you hadn't.

Ok, if it wasn't official before, it is now -- I am addicted. I have received around 10 votes and 1 comment in the last 24 hours -- I'm getting bored with the update button. :(

The great thing about getting shelled because you have submitted a boring shot is that it frees you up from the compulsion to check your score all the bloody time!

I hear ya' Britannica. I keep smacking that update button, but the score only changes every few hours. Looks like the interest really trailed off on this one.

Brennan- I'm er... NOT free from that compulsion, but I'll be out of town shooting my sister-in-law's wedding all weekend, so I won't be able to check my status. I'm not sure which is worse. ;-)

Yikes, Bassie. Check the early scores for some the top photo jocks around here. You're off to a better start than most of them. Put some ice on that camera!

I've stopped checking up on my Freedom entry all trogether now. I was in ribbon territory to start, but with every vote I'm falling .001 places. Way to get my hopes up DPC!!!
Oh well, I still like the shot and it was fun taking it.

My scores are always very stable from start of voting to finish, but never seen one that stopped all activity as quickly as Freedom II. But that's OK with me -- I'm at 5.50 and that at least puts me in good company for once! And yes, Bassie, I think you are a photographic prodigy or something! lol

Looks like bobdavean and I are pacing each other. Both are in the running for a 6.0, especially with the boost from tossing out the troll voters and those that don't get 20% completed.

Bassie: I thought I was doing good with 60% more views than votes, but 124% more -- smokin'. Looks like you have a controversial shot, one the voters either love or hate.

I thought I was doing good to have 14 comments in the first couple of days of voting, but 38 comments in two days -- that is really hitting them upside the head and making them take notice. Nicely done.

You've got enough ribbon material to stitch a napkin together, so you can wipe your mouth when you're done sucking. Geez... you'd think the GOOD photographers would show some manners! ;-)
