I created this poster of our companies Mudd Volleyball competition and plan to get 3 of them printed through DPCPrint.com at 18"x24" for the bulletin boards. I would like to hear your thoughts on the poster.
POSTER
If anyone can explain how to create the thumb when the image is not stored at DPC I would appreciate it. :o)
Thanks!

Is there a reason that the shadows are going different ways? The smaller ones have bottom shadows and the yellow framed ones have shadows going in the other direction. I like the simple border on the small ones. Maybe blur the shadows a little more and make them less opaque? Other than that, it's pretty nice. And sure to make everyone happy to see themselves on it. Yuck on the licking one! lol
You could always post a smaller version in your portfolio. Wouldn't you have to do that anyway to link the print for dpc? I don't know, but that's how I've done mine in the past. |

Thanks for the ideas on the smoothing the shadows a bit more. The reason that the shadows are going different directions is because the large images are embossed as if they are in a matt and the small are as if they are laying on top of the matt. :o)
Thanks!
Bill
Anyone else have comments or ideas?

1. Make a tiny version of your image, about 160 pixels wide.
2. Upload that to the same place your full-sized image is stored.
3. In the InsertHyperlink dialog, enter the URL to the big image. Where the text for the link goes, put the URL to the small image inside a set of [img] [/img] tags. That should display the thumbnail in the thread, but when you click on it you should be taken to the page displaying the full-sized image. |
