Has anyone had any trouble saving a file after using the NoiseWare filter? I keep saving and then can't find the saved-as file. Thanks for any help!!

Nope now problems, should be in the same directory as the original with the _filtered added just before the extension. i.e. myfile_filtered.jpg

When you are saving them , do you check the folder where they are being sent to ? It is possible that they are just in a different spot than what you think. You could just go to search for files and folders, and type in filtered, then any file with that in the name should show up in your search.

Good luck

I think it is a glitch in the software communicating. I had done it before and found a trick I had to use but I have forgotten the trick! I have never had a problem saving a file ever before with any other software. Thanks to all though!! I'll keep tinkering with it.

I have noticed that I have to leave the folder I'm browsing and come back to it for the filtered picture to show. I use psp. Just close your session of whatever program you use, reopen it and you should be able to find the picture. Hope this helps.

That's what I thought I remembered as the "trick". I have been closing and re-opening ACDSee each time and I finally got a file but one of those symbols "cannot open". Back to the drawing board . . . . . maybe a shut down will be next!

You shouldn't have to close and re-open. Most software has some sort of refresh mechanism, usually in the right-click menu.

This software defies explanation! I have seen and used it all, and this one is one is perplexing us all.

You, and everyone, made very good suggestions. It is hard not knowing what someone is using or has already tried etc. Thank you!!!!!!
