If my average cast is between 6-6.5, then I feel I've voted fairly and is in line with my usual ratings. If the average is under 6, I have another look at the entries to decide if I was being unnecessarily harsh, or if there just wasn't much that appealed to me. |

seems like i've taken over this thread ..
and seeing the results of my voting i'm a bit blown away .. average score 7.3529 .. !! ..
tried to give as many comments as i could .. because there's been a dearth of them in recent times ..
its so much easier giving a comment when you give a high score .. not so easy when you are unimpressed with a photo .. for most ppl that is ..

And that was in 2021 now 3 years later it's only between 18 and 40 entries mostly so it's hardly a chore to comment anymore now. And perhaps if we do start commenting more then the number of participants will start to grow again. Actually it might be one of the main reasons why participation started declining in the first place.
