I comb the hair from the back of my head over my forehead and trim to desired length. The longer hair can be left as is.. if you are just layering comb forward from the crown and trim but not straight across.. angle the cut so the sides are a bit longer and the middle shorter. When you comb the hair back again it should blend in nicely. |

My son bought clippers a few weeks ago and did his own hair, then he did mine a few days ago - came out great! ... but I've never had my hair cut when it's wet. Always dry. Interesting. |

OH - well search for a different pair - again looking for a mid range (bear in mind that each pair of my sissors costs $375-550 each)...wink |
Will do. And it sounds as if Uncle Pete was quite the good sport! |

Oh - he was a jewel!!! Quite the paranoid character - his parents were Russian - never naturalized - he (as well as all of my mothers siblings) were “investigated” during the Cold War. One time - in the 70’s he called up my sister-in-law (this was the first time she had really meet “Uncle Pete”) - and said that he was at the McDonalds in town - that he was surrounded and the government was there to take him out...SUPER paranoid...but had a heart of gold!!! But he could be a hoot!!! |

I bend over to brush out my hair with my head upside down. This morning I grabbed the scissors and cut off two inches. Looks fine. And no human will see me for a year anyway, so..... :) |

... then there is the issue of the beard.
Robert bear_music was about to make one of his sporadic visits to the barber when things changed. He now has a rather magnificent, almost Santa Claus worthy, beard which I snapped (rather than snipped) the other day.
Sadly the cannula has now become a fixture in his life. His COPD has worsened and he now needs a steady supply of oxygen at all times to prevent his oxygen levels dropping to scarily low levels. :-( |

Here’s a good Beard Trimmer - semi reasonable and adjustable.

ALL Bears have beard trimmers, it's a requirement of the species, or at least the civilized component of it :-) However, THIS bear has decided not to trim his pelt, facial or otherwise, until he is released from house arrest. We'll keep you posted :-)

Hang in there, Bear!
Don't cave on the beard, either! *grin*

All the very best to you, Bear, and to Penny. You're beyond distinguished. |
