A member wrote an application that checks your score periodically and calculates the votes received. I thought it was NiallOTuama, but I am not finding the application linked on his profile page. I may be mistaken.

got some really nice comments. I wasn't expecting anything of a high score, sitting at a 5.4 currently but its intriguing thats some of the more respected "critics" here have commented on my image positively.

doing much better than I ever expected, and great comments. Waiting for more, giving more as well.

Trying to NOT focus on my usual simple flattery, but from the heart impression comments. The problem with commenting is it reveals my lack of photographic wisdom and requires much thought simply not to embarrass myself.

This is crap!

I do not get why people are so hard on themselves about their commenting. With the exception of very few, any and all comments are appreciated. They are too few and far between these days, and as long as you give an honest opinion, it's all good.

I don't think anyone's much critiquing comments.......just glad someone would pause long enough to give their image a second, closer look.

I have never had a ubique comment and I really want one, but if it will help, you can skip mine.

If you aren't sure how to write a helpful comment at DPC, try using this simple template -- just check one or both boxes and fill in the blank(s) ...

Mae, all you need to do is ::beam:: at someone and their day is made!!! :-)

I'm getting there.... will try to do a few more tonight, but it does take me a while!

The main reason I entered this one was because I wanted a Ubique comment. Yayyy, I have one now for my box of proud mementos! Thank you, Ubique!!! And I've also gotten some comments from some of my other heroes here, so I too am beaming! And someone I love lovingly guessed my photo was mine... What a fun challenge! :). *also beams*

Frankly, I don't have too many ::beams:: in me, but I did receive a ::lovely:: comment from Ubique, and that
comment made my face light up like a flashlight at full power. So, I guess that's a ::beam::

I really enjoyed this challenge. The worst thing about it is that there are too many good photos. Right now I have eight 10s that I am considering for my fantasy gallery, but there are also many 9s that probably deserve such recognition as well. Might still do some shuffling before I make final decisions.
