Just got some blatant hate-votes, enjoy yourselves whomever you are - since you don't have the stones to comment :)

Same here - it was all the way up to 6.5 for a while and I thought I might actually get a color photo from this decade in my top 5, but now it doesn't look that way.

Surprised because I still feel this picture is not worth this 5.7 (I was guessing more around a 5)
I voted very high on this challenge.

For dramatic effect I also made a Lik Style Photo Description with the submission. Others were joking about the descriptions leading up to the challenge, so I figured I'd play in to that, in case you missed it:

Peter Lik style Image Description:

This shot has eluded me my entire life, I was glad to have finally been able to capture it. Because of the unreachable nature of this site, I rode in with my Nikon out, swinging from a rope at the bottom of a helicopter. I let go of the rope and began to spiral down toward the beach, while getting my camera ready on a tripod. I used two shoot through umbrellas to soften my landing. Just before I hit the ground I had readied my tripod, and pre-focused my lens. As soon as I landed, I rolled to the left under the Pier, I shot. And this was the result. Stay thirsty my friends. - Nick

First front pager! Yay.

Excellent work -- definitely one of those "I wish I'd thought of that" items! :-)

Congratulations on the HM!

That was a funny description. Sounds about like what he would write, too.
