Maybe there could be a, uh, splinter group of "things" used as tooth picks. ;D

Well, here we go! Good luck, citizens of DPC!

Normally I would expect this to be incredibly boring, but I trust the DPC crowd to get creative, inventive and entertaining.

Bring it on.

I saw this in person three years ago at the Marin County fair ...

"It's people like that who make you realize how little you've accomplished. It is a sobering thought, for example, that when Mozart was my age, he had been dead for two years!"

Sure it's an impressive sculpture, but his teeth are a mess....

What a STUPID challenge topic!

I'm not even sure what a tooth pick is! No idea where you buy them, if you even can - I rather thought they went out with the introduction of dental floss.

What do you use to pick up your cocktail wieners?

A cocktail stick - same thing?

In our grocery store, they're on the same aisle as paper plates and cups. Seventy-nine cents.
(I had to go buy some this morning. Ha!)

Pretty much, although, I'm sure if you entered a photo with cocktail sticks, someone would DNMC you.

I had access to an 18k gold toothpick, but really could not figure what to do with it so I passed on this challenge.

An 18k toothpick - aw dang Unca Raymee, you should have shot it! Had it ever been used? If so it would probably be uhm a leetle bit deformed...gold is very soft esp when the ks get that high!

And jgirl57...uhm yep those cocktail-weenie (does anyone actually EAT those things?!) stick thingies would probably be considered toothpicks. I think they're usually flat-sided as opposed to rounded in shape. Little frill of coloured cellophane optional :-)

Well, so long as they're popular and you're happy...:-) personally I stick with the li'l cubes of cheese and raw veggies in onion dip, chased by a big ol slug of wine at functions where Vienna sausages (their official name I think) are served. But that's just me. I'm Canadian. I drink tree blood. I'm weird.
