I was considering cropping this a little more for centering and submitting it to the Centered Composition challenge, but decided it was too common and selected a very different picture. I really like this photograph, though, nonetheless. Opinions? Suggestions? Criticisms? :)

Personally, I really like this shot and I think it would have faired quite well, I would have given it about an 8 or 9. The focus is definitely in the center. A very nicely done shot in my opinion.

Really beautiful picture IMHO. Good job! I'd have rated it at least an 8...probably more. :o)

i think it's a very nice shot and probably would have scored fairly well. if you play around a bit with the levels, brightness and contrast, it would make a great addition to your portfolio and a very nice print.

I think the shot is perfect for the challenge. The focus is sharp, the center of the flower seem to draw you into its beauty...
Great Job

Agreed, I feel there could be more contrast and level variance. I think it would make the shot a lot more dynamic then it already is.

Thanks for all of your comments! I originally tried tweaking the levels a bit to be more contrasty and thought it looked... well, a bit fake. May try it again since I won't be entering the photo into a challenge anyway :) I appreciate the praise, I'm glad I'm not the only one who liked it, lol. I usually am with my own favourites :)

Maybe play around with duo/tri/quad-tones too might make for a good print.
