A little bird told me Gordon defended his doctorate thesis and can now attach PhD at the end of his name. It's a PhD in engineering so he gets to drive the big trains now. Tooot tooot.
But seriously, congrats Daddy-O.

heh, thank you. This must mean I get to ride on the steam trains now I think.
Depending on how 'exactly' you want exactly to mean, it's electronic engineering, or it is simulation and design approaches for dynamically reconfigurable computing.
I did only have my Optio S4 with me, but here are a few pics from Skye...

Congrats all the same to Gordon.

Yahoo! You seemed to have survived intact. I went through the whole Ph.D thing with David (Dr. Dave to his students) and it wasn't one bit fun, to put it nicely. You're in an elite club now, Gordon, congrats!

Gordon, this is great news. Now you can philosophize about engineering! The PhD dissertation is NEVER fun; great job just hanging in there!

Congrats Gordon. So when are going to start wearing ascots, smoking the pipe and become exceedingly boring, talking incessantly about what you do and how complicated it is? Just kidding! :P
Well done!

Gordon, that Loch Sheil panorama is stunning, pity it was too large for the challenge. |
