Ok, so I'm just guessing, but surely, they MUST be related.

She was an interesting lady. Tommy was such a sweet heart. He didn't bite too often, well, he didn't bite me too often, he bit Grandma Evelyn all the time. He liked the little sailor suit, though he really didn't appreciate the silk dress. He did NOT like pleats and found them very embarrassing.

With all the press she got from the life magazine article, she started "adopting" more and more grand-squirrels. After about 145 adoptions, Grandpa Mark finally put his foot down and she switched to possums. At least it took a little longer to make the costumes, and there were less adoptions.

Unfortunately, when Grandma Evelyn was bit by one of the possums, we found out that it had rabies, she never did seem quite the same after that -- she seemed a bit odd from then on...

It's too bad they had to invent footie pajamas -- she just had to try the out on the possum.
