So I mentioned earlier, that basically if you are whining about the challenge's and lack of descriptions or the rules of the challenge, then we basically have no one else to blame but OURSELVES.
The computer does it's thing and picks up what we have suggested on this Challenge Suggestion Forum and plasters it on the front page pretty much verbatum . So if you want better challenges and more variety, then bring it on.
So my double dog dare to you all, is come up with 2-3 challenge ideas that you would like to see in the next few months and that you would really be interested in and give a fabulous descriptive Challenge Details:
Bring your A Game as there will be possible prize for the best one! =) |

Choose any of Cory's suggestions here.
Instead we have these shitty open ended lyric challenges and whatnot where I can literally shoot anything and tie it into the challenge. I might just take a picture of a turd for the Elvis challenge.
edit - Take out the "Fine Arts:" in front of those suggested by Cory and they're perfectly valid options.
So there's plenty of options to choose from, there is no excuse.

Is that all you ever do, bloody whine, get over yourself all ready and come up with your own original idea, or is that asking too much for someone like you? |

I just gave you a list of around 15 suggestions since you asked.
Now you're bitching about it.
edit - Or would you rather me start 15 new threads all reiterating the same thing?

I really wouldn't mind doing the cliche "train tracks". I have a beautiful image in mind... making it happen is another story. but put it off till march or April... after I get my new camera and when the weather is nice. |

An original idea Venser, not someone else's, not copying, but your own that you can think about and take pride in. Something that you would be 'happy' with doing. Think that is possible? |

Fine:
red buildings
oranges,
writing implements.
Will that shut you up now?
edit - WTF does it matter who suggested it in the first place? Please answer with something sensible because I don't see why it matters whether it's myself or some other member.

Thanks for answering the question above as to why it matters who suggested the challenge. Why are my suggestions pathetic? They're all perfectly valid.

Here Juliet, I'll answer the question for you since you either won't or can't. It doesn't matter.
At least my complaints about the openess of most of the recent challenge have merit. We can argue whether it's a worthy topic of debate or not, but there is validity to my complaints. You literally offered nothing when asked. |

This is a really great response, everyone, and some really terrific, SPECIFIC ideas. I worry, however, that in this format, they will not be accessible in the idea pool. Someone from SC please allay my concerns... |

I was wondering about that Sieg as well. I will be happy to make separate threads of all these ideas if that is how the computer works |
