Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.
This big tom may have survived yet another holiday. I plan to survive, likewise.
Made the front page of the local paper. |

We've already celebrated our Thanksgiving here in Canada, but to all the folks south of the border, Happy Thanksgiving! One interesting thing - it seems we've happily adopted the Black Friday shopping trend up here.

LOL!!! And, smart, too. He staked out a territory in the national park, where there is (theoretically) no hunting. |

LOL!!! While the turkey you cook for Thanksgiving has never been airborne, wild turkeys can fly. They fly extremely well. When they take off, it sounds like a helicopter taking off. Some accounts say they can soar up to 55 mph for short bursts. They roost in the tree branches and treetops at night. (I'm pretty sure they can't climb trees.) |
