I clearly am not very good at the jmritz style, but I sure enjoyed trying to create one. I saw the challenge as trying to create a feel, a moment, a glance in a photo (how I personally interpret his work). The comments I received seemed to suggest I delivered that, even though the score and placement were pathetic...

I had so much fun shooting for this challenge, & voting on it. I couldn't think of anything to say to comment on any of them though, for fear of making a fool of myself. Silly. I didn't try the crinkled shrink-wrap effect, that's something for the future.

This was my other portrait of the man. I was torn between them. I suppose this might have fared better...
Regardless, it was a pleasure hanging out with John for a few hours in the drizzly-gray of late spring.
