 Didn't mean for this to be such an "it looks like this in the picture- but here goes:"

a person with a monkey reaching over and grabbing the tassel of an elf hat as he tries to get away.

But seriously, this is my wife and 3 1/2 year old daughter on a hike at Gillette Castle on the Connecticut River. Most of that is quite irrelevant, as it would make no difference where this was.

I am very happy to receive some great comments and accolades from Bspurgeon. He saw the content through the shine and contrast and the blur.

Fascinating image. I get a sense of parents letting their child explore the surrounding chaos of our world. Watching from behind; like a soft shadow, always there.
