Day 20 @10mm
Going out of town for a week but hoping to still contribute. Going to Ottawa, lots of opportunities to use my wide-angle lens there. |

Sorry for not posting lately, been busy and haven't had the Fuji out. This is processed but I'll try a unprocessed one next time around.

I'm not entered in this SC, but have been watching it from the sidelines. My choice would have probably been the 55mm Micro Nikkor for the challenge. It's kept in my daily equipment ready bag, though I don't use it very often normally.
I was curious to know how everyone is feeling about their choice of focal length for the challenge? Does anyone sort of wish they had chosen longer or shorter, or feel cramped by the limited focal length, or liberated by not having to think about focal length, when shooting for the S C?

Making photos with just 1 focal length is a very nice method for practicing, but not always very practical, especially with the nocrop/norotation limit. I've no problem with doing this for a month (so I can really test my new lens), but for normal life it's not good. You should use the lens you need or want for a certain situation. |

i think i chose the right lens. the 50mm is the lens i use the least so i wanted to force myself to do something i normally wouldn't do.
sometimes i wish i'd gone with 10mm but that's the lens i use the most. |
