A terrific weekend for us.......out & about all day yesterday & today in the MGB....
LOVE the DoF with this lens!
It is however, *NOT* a landscape lens! LOL!!!
It does not begin to convey the beauty and expanse of where we were when I shot this...

So over the last month or so, a couple of mynah birds have taken up residence on a ledge off of my bedroom window. They have piled a bunch of small branches underneath the A/C unit and called it home. Well today, I hear the quiet sounds of baby birds chirping so they must be a family now. I can't see the babies since they're under the A/C unit but I can occasionally catch a glimpse of one of the parents. I think this is the mom since she is one that guards the nest 24/7
I'll try to get better shots at some point.

I'm shooting though a small crack in the window shade and through a screen.
If they see me at all, they fly away so I gotta get John Rambo on them and sneak around.

Yah, okay......I hammered this pretty hard, BUT.....
It's where we sit in the evening and watch the sun set over the valley.......it's one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Weird how I get nothing for a couple days, then things work out. I'm really enjoying forcing myself out of my comfort zone by making myself shoot only with this prime. I actually saw this and could tell the setup was decent enough for a car window shot with the 105 lens. I just landed on the brakes and shot this through the passenger's side window. I used a "vintage" filter in Topaz, and I like it.....
For some odd reason, the farmers around here in central Pennsylvania like these highland cattle. I'm glad, 'cause they make great models! LOL!!!
