8v2/52 The Natural World. After a recent entry with a mirror (The fabulous Sigma f/8 500mm) by Don, and the in-challenge comments about the bokeh, I thought I'd show you what's possible when you really edit it hard. I seldom Gaussian Blur, and certainly not like this, but compare my original with my smashed GB edit.

It's been a day of sirens, alarms, heavy winds, excited meteorologists & storm chasers. These shots are from another dog walk. CoCo's ears were pinned to the back of her neck by the wind.

The one is definitely the better "quality" shot, but I like the others because of their "pose" and/or the background. Now to get the quality and the background and the pose into one picture ... sigh ... ;-)

In my town, every street has its own personality. Here, among a line of the usual gray on gray standards, a designer has painted the street lights in front of *his* building bright red.
