Here is mine that I made earlier using incense smoke, old images of a tennis court and flaking paint mixed together with a (large) helping of PS ;)

Mine rotates with a selection of about 20 or so in a folder. This is the one that was up when I read this thread:

| My current 'best of 2011' entry. It's my practice to use any current challenge entry as my desktop bg until at least the end of the competition if not longer if the image does well. I hope to keep this one a while ;-) |

I like the default desktop image on my Mac OS X computers, but I use this image as the desktop/wallpaper image on my iPhone and iPad because it works well in landscape or portrait orientation.

This is a picture I took on Grand Canyon's North Rim in September 2000 showing Steamboat Mountain, which is a tad higher than Australia's highest mountain, Mount Kosciusko.

Sadly, no desktop image right now... :(
Still waiting to get my computer, but as soon as I get it, there will be something OTHER than the stock photos that come preloaded!
