If you vote 5 on EVERYTHING - You are a Middle of the Roader.

Definition: You hug both sides of the road by riding the line because you can't decide which lane to move into so you stick to the middle:-):-):-)

		| Actually, the middle score would be 5.5, so a 5 is low. |

I was just getting ready to say...if you eliminate all the 5's they would probably all be 4's because it wasn't good enough in the voters mind to be a 6 therefore it must be lower...5 is just fine with me....(given the choice) |

		| Maybe the only vote possible should be 10. Then everyone would get a blue ribbon. Every entry, every time. |

Agreed, and what about all the current ribbon hogs - the 1% - we should also redistribute those existing ribbons to us 99% out of "fairness".

Just counted - I've given out 101 5s in the current FS!

What would I do with out them???

(Yet to do my second pass where I discriminate a little more though) |

oh hell no... if the voitng loses the 5's.. who knows where it will end.. packs of 5 sausage rolls disappearing from supermarkets, the line "5 gold rings" removed from the 12 days of christmas leaving nothingness in its place...the jackson 5 erased from musical hystory.. ok so that last one wouldn't be so bad :P

 hehe

I am not suggesting this, but I often wondered; What if there was a like/dislike tally instead of scores. Or for a numerical scale, only a 10 or a 1... What would the outcome be?
With the current scale, I've seen even brown's get a 10 or two, so the probability of a perfect 10 score or a "perfect" one is very low.

Another idea aimed to eliminate trolls would be to have a curve like in grammar school where the SC eliminates as many ones from your score as the entry with the least amount of ones. |

		| You can make fun of Jacko- but in the Jackson 5 he was really good- better than most before teen age years. What about that awful "Take5" - thank god they never caught on in the states. |
