o.k....hangs head..... I did worse than you this past year - and I need to do better... I would like to climb back on the wagon again. Not sure about my theme etc. I am hoping to come up with something better than "o.k., I did it".

Thank you for getting this started and thank you Henk hajekafor the well-timed kick :) |

I want to be in again, but not sure of theme yet - anything but reflections, probably possibly.

		| Ok, I'll try it again. I'd like my theme to be 'The Mysterious' . Conceptual I know, but I probably just do whatever ;) |

I'll give it a whirl. I need something to distract me. Put me down for "Exploring Cape Cod with a Lensbaby" :-)

		| I'd like to try. My theme is "My Town". I know...sounds boring. But, there are some strange people here so there's hope. |

		| Haven’t played this game before but I would like to give it a try. I do a lot of travel so I’m trying to think of a theme that might be achievable no matter where I am. Put me down for ‘birds’. Surely I can find a bird somewhere at least once a week. |

		| I haven't participated in this one before and I'd like to join. I'll think about a theme, possibly trees. I love them and I'm constantly drawn to photographing them but the results are a major source of frustration, so maybe not! |

Snapshots. Lousy snapshots. It'll save me from submitting them to challenges. :-)

		| Haven't done anything like this before. Sounds like a good learning experience. Does "slow shutter" qualify as a theme? |

Yep. Consider playing in the January Blur side challenge as well if you are going with slow shutter speed. |

I'll sign up again. As for a theme, that's a mystery. At least it is to me.... Perhaps "Stream of consciousness".

		| OK. I'll try to do better and will do my usual "as the spirit moves me" thing. Apologies to the thread members this year. I just didn't post much here, but I did a fair to middling job of keeping up my blog which is supposed to be one-a-day. It isn't, but it is at least one a week. I'll try to do better..... |

 Thanks |
Michele - no real rules. Pick something you'd like to work on - your profile page says portraits are an interest, so that might be a good choice. Then plan on shooting at least once a week for your project. If you fall behind, catch up when you can. Ben will start a thread (or use this one) and you just post your picture once a week. As a courtesy, comment on those offered by others, and watch your shot for comments as well. Side challenges are meant to be positive learning experiences. Hopefully you'll offer some insights as to how you feel about the projects of others, and they will do the same for you.

If you have any specific questions, just ask - someone will help out! |
