I don't remember the kid being there when I snapped the dragonfly. Amazing what you miss when you're looking through a lens! :P

Reminds me of Cicely Mary Barker's illustrations. One of my favorites as a child was on the cover of the book "Flower Fairies Alphabet" and was also inside the book under F, as I recall: Flower Fairies

inneresting. perhaps a side challenge of subjects that bleed over 2 sides of the photo.
then you put together a mosaic afterwards - where the subjects are contiguous.
wish it could be a regular challenge but they'd never bite.
