...and exactly why would that be.
When one considers the topic of the challenge and takes the time to examine the images that participants were trying to emulate it becomes abundantly clear that a good segment of the voters considered this image as NOT meeting those parameters...end of story.
Before anyone decides to jump all over me, be informed that I voted this particular image a 7, which compared to my overall average is quite good.

| Ray, you are correct to a point. The challenge was not to create a Librodo copy. He once said that a portrait is an emotional landscape. The majority of the images failed. Odriew did not. |

One of my top three had the audacity to ribbon. And the photographer had the audacity to take two ribbons on rollover at that!
So two others deserving some love:
We love a good picture here at DPC, but we also love to laugh, have fun, poke fun, and even occasionally try to annoy the voters. :-) |

Ok, if any challenge seemed to need bluebirds, it was the Birds in Flight challenge. What an awesome job everyone did!
I picked my favorite 10: I picked some for technical excellence, some for grace, some for beauty, some for sheer silliness.
