 This isn't going to score well, but I am submitting it in frustration anyways.
I went to the zoo and spent hours in the Aviaries photographing birds flying and came home with nothing to show for it (or at least nothing I was happy with). Got several shots with birds in focus but I had to use an ISO of 1600 and on my camera that is a disaster, and so all of the lovely in focus birds looked awful.

So I am going with a pigeon shot from right in front of my house instead, which I am also not happy with, but I am hoping that some people will like the Minimalism

Well, first of all this is doing slightly better than expected...but more importantly, I received a BLUEBIRD from vawendy!!! Wow, that just made my week! Thanks!

Something about the building (or whatever the structure is) really detracts from this shot for me. I wish I either saw less of it or not at all.

Ok, since I'm not voting in this challenge, and it's driving me up the wall, I'm awarding bluebirds to my 10 favorite shots. I'll post them in the posthumous awards thread after the challenge is over, but I just couldn't wait until then!

Actually one of my top 3 favorites in the challenge. Absolutely love the negative space. Great composition! Great spotting and capture! Here's a bluebird:
