I took 27 shots and only one came out clear, this one. Was trying to get a blurred, distorted one I liked but my Wife Rita wanted this one entered. So here it is.

Nice idea. Somehow I think the particular bird (maybe the species or position) doesn't lend itself to this soft overexposed dreaminess. I think it's the apparently tiny head with huge eye.

Ok, since I'm not voting in this challenge, and it's driving me up the wall, I'm awarding bluebirds to my 10 favorite shots. I'll post them in the posthumous awards thread after the challenge is over, but I just couldn't wait until then!

Beautifully done! I love the processing on this one, and the negative space works very well. Very nice!! Here's a bluebird:
