This is reinforcing what I always used to know, working in the darkroom: what works for B/W may be absolute junk in color :-)

Myself and family are moving in a week, to the Welsh village of Caerleon. It's a lovely little place on the river Usk that has a very rich Celtic and Roman history which it is very proud of and displays through festivals and events throughout the year and many wonderfully weird sculptures and statues and things scattered about the village. Morris dancers at dawn on Mayday. That sort of place. A bit WickerMan. I can't wait to live there! Here are a few images i took yesterday.

I like the images I'm seeing with SEP2, thanks for posting folks. I have a feeling there will be an influx of B&W entries over the next few weeks. Lev has agreed to be the first to enter a ribbon contender with the new border. Thanks for risking a DQ Lev! |

I don't know when this SC started but it's the best cluster of pictures, so far! I am sitting here for 2 hours with these cement boots on and cannot move to do anything else. I found that I'd like to comment on each image but it's too late now. I'll continue to peruse happily but in silence.
Congratulations to all! Amazing work.
It will take a lot of my strength to participate.
