Hoagy and Rose
Too cold to go out shooting last weekend but found this in going through some old files from 2 years ago. This bronze sculpture of composer, performer, and actor Hoagy Carmichael is located just north of the Auditiorium on the Indiana University campus in Bloomington, Indiana. The shot was taken early one September morning after an overnight rainstorm, accounting for the raindrops on the piano. Someone had placed a rose from the surrounding flower garden in his left hand the night before. Although I thought about removing it, I decided to leave it as I liked the effect.

Back In Scotland - Week 5
I'm on holiday in the Scottish Highlands at the moment. This one was actually going to be my free study entry for this month, but I was out today and I took one which I think is better, so this is perfect for my PAW.
Once I'm done up here I'm going to put together some of my best shots from the two weeks and put them up somewhere, I'll post the link and do a bit of promotion for my country :) |

I saw these turkeys while I was driving down the street. The minute I raised my camera they all took off. The flock numbered about 15 or so. |
