I have been busy at work, and with editing and posting 600 or so BMX bike racing photos on Fb. I haven't had time to make many comments.

Hi guys, I̢۪m new here, a friend recommended this side challenge as a way to get my feet wet.
Soâ€Â¦I just got my Canon last month and am having a wonderful time. I’ve joined a local camera club, and the first contest is Sunrises and Sunsets. So, if it’s alright, I would like to use this side challenge for receiving feedback as well as narrowing down my list.
To rattle on no furtherâ€Â¦here is one of my recent sunsets taken on December 28th.

Shot by rolling to a stop where the egret was feeding in the ditch and shooting through the open passenger side window. Manual focus because there were a couple of weeds in front of the bird. You can see the blur from one along his neck.
