 These catamarans ( I've been enlightened by Bear_Music that they are not yachts) were brought out of the water shortly after we arrived at Frankston Beach.

This looks like an absolutely classic painting from the 50's - as seen in so many living rooms. It's awesome - abstract enough to make it very compelling.

This one is interesting - I think there is siome kind of board overlay - it works well because of the blue in the central sails i think

It's a lovely picture, but please don't call 'em "yachts" :-) Skiffs, dinghies, catamarans, boats... Whatevere they happen to be. But you can't pull a yacht up on a beach (says the former sailmaker, plaintively).
