I have been a slacker lately both on posting and commenting. There are so many good photos posted everyday it is hard to keep up.

Unrelated to this thread question: Would any of you know anything about pricing images for sale, limited rights, to a printing company that wants to run art prints at about 100 per picture. That is, this company wants to buy limited rights to use a few of my picts for prints they want to make to sell, and I have no idea what to say to that. Anyone here know anything about something like this, or where I could find out what a fair price is?

THANKS!

You might want to check out what the Editors of Writer's Digest Books might have to say - they publish a series of books as in 2010 Artist's & Graphic Designer's Market , 2010 Photographer's Market - any bookstore should have them. Not only do they have markets listed on where to sell but they generally have articles that talk about niches and how to's and yes, pricing your work. Good Luck! Oh, and let all know if you seal the deal!:-)

Go to Learn, down to Tutorials, and on the far right is a tutorial on Overlays and Textures by Roz ( sorry I don't know how to put in the link.)

Good luck! I'd also check out what the going rates are on places such as Alamy for those types of rights. And you could also just ask them what their budget is and see if it's agreeable.
