Back to my "kitchen sink" mode...

Again, I like the original alone, but decided to see if I could create a sense of isolated creativity and inspiration without destroying the wonderful qualities of the original. Photo taken the day of our recent LA GTG, while at lunch with Deb (who also took some great images of this guy).

The flower overlay images are from the same image I took at the Getty (also a DPC GTG!!), and I used cgino's I want a Doll and Unfocused Drops textures, plus a vintage handwritten texture from Pink Sherbet Photography on Flickr.

Multiple blending modes, etc., etc.

PS - the scratches on the glass are grafitti on the window, and not an overlay.

I thought a crop might emphasize the intimacy. Not so sure:

I definitely prefer it not cropped. The muted tones and darkness combine really nicely. I thought that overlay was actually the wall.

Is it not funny how everyone has a different opinion...I like this...but I like how your subject in the cropped version is brought up close and center...

Love it! It really all flows together wonderfully. I wonder if the guy realized you guys were snapping him? LOL! He's quite cute.

I like the contrast in colors, between the inside and outside the window. Lots of interesting elements in this version!

I do like the crop simply because you can see him a bit better. I like the balance of this one.

Remember Cass Elliott singing that song?? I can hear her in my head. I love that guy's expression. This is really nice.
