I actually have a shot that came out perfect using spicify, and not overcooked at all. I almost used it in a freestudy, but decided that it didn't have enough popular appeal. I have a custom preset I call "spicify lite" that I do use a lot.

I was trying to get a shot of the snow on the mountains from my back deck, here are a couple tries. The clouds keep getting in the way!

I was one of the photographers at a music festival this last weekend and was lucky enough to be covering one of my favourite ever bands, the American group SWANS (no-i don't expect many to have heard of them!). They were stunning as expected and i got a few good shots. I like this one with the tangle of arms, mike and guitar.

Not much picture taking this week. Yesterday, my neighbor asked me to take some quick photos of her son for his Senior yearbook page; these are a couple from that session.

26-something

Continuing my topaz dilemma... the adaptive exposure feature "evens out the exposure of sections of the image". You can set the number of regions. Sounds a little tricky to me :).

Big tractor.......look to the front of the tire and use the man for scale.

Now......realize that there are TWO of those tires on the rear.....on EACH side.
