I'm back from my daughter's Sunshine Coast wedding, which was supposed to be on the beach. The weather gods decided that wasn't going to happen, but the day was fantastic anyway, in spite of it being the wettest October day ever recorded for the region. Naturally all this impacted on the photos, but a few days later we had a photo shoot at the intended location. (And the 'other' photographer had gone home, so I got to do the shoot myself!) I'll post some of those shots soon.

Congrats to the new couple  jomari.
I've been busy trying to get enough done so that I can take off 10 days and go to the Baja 1,000 in Mexico in a couple of weeks. Some of my friends are running a class 2 car this year and have invited me along to shoot photos, all expenses paid. This is the second time, so I'm fired up.

I've been busy today so I thought I would take the easy route and give everyone a second look at my "chalk" challenge entry.
This is one I almost went with, the lighting is a little better but I like the expression better in the first one. |

25-Mushrooms - I will miss this SC after Sunday.
I'm struggling with a photo for the midday sun challenge... I know I've read somewhere that Topaz Adjust is legal in Basic but now I can't find it. (OK, I know about the caveat "until it becomes a feature", but it's a little vague, isn't it?)

Yes, that's a bit vague, but nobody has been DQ'd for crossing that line yet.

basically I think it's for things like spicify and psychedelic. The over the top, obviously topazed shots. I use things like clarity, photo pop, mild details, etc. for basic.

I've been called on the carpet (asked for validation) on several basic rules topazed shots. They've all passed. |
