Pueblo ruin in New Mexico. The most prominent structure at many of these ruins are the churches that the Spaniards built when they were attempting to destroy the native culture convert the natives to Christianity.

HDR from 3 handheld exposures. I was surprised how well most of my handhelds lined up when I merged them.

Ack! I see some compression artifacts! Good thing this isn't a real challenge entry, I'd never live down the humiliation.

Lovely! I can't see any artifacts (which is probably why my scores always suck!).

See, I'm the only one anal enough about compression to see them. If you look around the high contrast edges of the sky surrounding the towers, there is a little bit of pixellation visible from compression.

Beautiful shot. Reminds me of the Taos School paintings.

What artifacts?

Your handheld HDRs deserve a special folder :). That dark wall stands out really good and I love the burning orange.

Oh I like the panoramic size!! I can almost hear the grass blowing in the hot wind. :)
