No, actually. I kind of enjoy that it is what it is. I hope it continues to be my lowest-scoring image ever. Though I am entering a macro that could do even worse :-)

I didn't understand the concept of complementary colors, LOL! Black & white were in my crayon box and I was thinking more along the lines of opposite colors. Still, at least my pp skills have improved a tad since then.

I am SO loving everyone's contributions. Incredible how so many excellent images scored so low, and how many low-scoring images are avant-garde, misunderstood art.

Comments: 59 (52 during the challenge!)

The most comments I've received on one of mine is currently 7, and that's my highest-rated image. Was the site that much more active in 2006 than it is now, or is there something else going on? :)

I never sit with the popular kids at lunch - GRIN!

You'll find me with the alternative types hanging on the lawns, behind the sheds, in the side challenges. Oh and my kids don't draw the big crowds (unless I'm copying goodman), - we're apparently not DPC friendly enough - maybe my accent gets in the way???

also, I have 38 images that have scored under 4. That's gotta be a tough one to beat.

My lowest score...to date:

4.6463



And, of course, it would have to happen during the DPL.

The comments were very nice and helpful, though.

I'll do better, I'll teach you how to look:

Under "Photos" at the top right of the page, click on "browse". Then look on the left hand side of the page that comes up. You'll see different categories. In these categories will be "Lowest Rated". Click on that to find the lowest scoring images. Click on other categories to see what's in those too, whenever you wish.

This is the one that charliebaker mentioned in his notes. It was so long ago that it only has 4 digits in the image number.


My current free study may be my lowest.
ETA That one may have scored in the dumpster, but it got some interestingly comical comments during voting. People didn't know what to make of it at all.

Maybe it was just so bad that they only gave it 4 digits for it's image number. It's a true classic among giants.
