So after looking through Bears portfolio i came to the realization that although he is really know around here for his landscapes and HDR/tonemapping my favorite shots of his dont fit that categorization (maybe the seagulls were tonemapped a bit but you know what i mean)
great shots bear! i love the perspective of the seagull shot and the light is wonderful in the grassy shot ( that is what its all about right? capturing the light?)

 I have marveled at all your skiff shots and the beautiful marsh images you have displayed over the years, but still find this image rather alluring. That nature would weep over the passage of time and the carelessness and neglect exhibited by mankind...truly that is something that should make all of us weep.
