First Impressions: Horizon is tilted. Lighting is too harsh. Cats are . . . um. . . . cats.
As for the Mouse: 1)He rocks!, 2)Looks like he's your neighbors problem now. :) Good catch!

Don't remind me that mouse season is coming. We got about 6 last fall/winter. Eekkkk! They freak me out. I'd rather face the hugest spider ever than a mouse in my kitchen. |

That's why they are such cute cats.
Typical day in your life? Ha, Strikeslip,
remember: You, sir, are in control! Yeah, sure you are.
Cats Rule.

Had a mouse in my place last winter too. I knew we had one because our cat would stare at the cupboards under the sink every night, and would make low growling noises at it regularly. One evening, my girlfriend is feeding the cat, pouring dry food into the cat's bowl, and the mouse falls out of the cat food. Cat thought it was Christmas. |

They can't catch a mouse because the have no faces! (short nosed thingys...)
I'm not sure what's worse: not catching the mouse, or my cat -- who caught the mouse and left it's decapitated body in the middle of my floor.
Although, I supposed my husband's grandma's cat was the worst. It would catch the mouse and leave the lifeless body in her pillowcase.

At least you didn't drive him out to the middle of the woods in the dead of winter and leave him there. |

Too funny. The look on the first cat's face is priceless. Also, great music! |

"Reflexes of lightning." Baahaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahhahahah!
Lil guy just decided you were a pusillanimous animal lover who could
be exploited for a temporary ride out of your house in case the hopelessly
obese felines should accidentally fall on, and crush him!!!!! He probably beat you back into your house and will wait until the fat cats go to sleep and have his way with your food supply. Great video Slippy. I could have done without the African music that seemed to be about how Obama used Ben Gay or something. LOL
Now go wash all your clothes and vacuum everything to clean up all the mouse turds that accumulate in a house with such obese and lazy cats!

They startle my wife. A while back we had a mouse after the compost bin under the sink, so I put a trap there to catch it. My wife was afraid to look. My daughter and I put together a Mouse Prank on her and video taped it, here. :-D |

Thanks. Both were nice. Oh, and you do have the reflexes of a cat (unlike your cats...) |

You were so nice to let it go, personally I like to see them to their death!!!!
I used to have a 4-6 mouse hunt every fall as soon as the weather started to get cold, I really hate those little guys and I think they know it and come after me. I was even sleeping one night and woke up to the feeling of a mouse walking on the back side of my hand. I flung my arm and heard the little sucker hit the wall. I got out of bed and set traps all around the room and had it in a trap within an hour. Death to them all!!!!!!!! |

Sounds like you need some NVGs and a pellet rifle. |

I've done that. Well, with a pellet gun. Put a paper plate with peanut butter on it at the bottom of the stairs, setup a video camera to monitor it at the top of the stairs. I watched the TV and waited. First time: I saw the rat crawl under the closed door, go over to the plate, and then proceed to snatch the whole plate, drag it under the door and haul ass with it back to his hiding place. Second time: I duct taped the plate to the carpet and watched the TV monitor and waited. Saw the rat crawl under the door again, grabbed the pellet pistol and snuck over to the top of the stairs. Looked down, took aim and..... click. The gun misfired and the rat took off. I pointed the gun at the plate again and took a second shot and sure enough it fired. I had the whole thing on video. It was back in 1988BYT. |
