I'm baffled by the response I received for this image but pleased none the less. A number of people thought that I burnt the edges or created a vignette but I used various polarizing filters to reduce the shutter speed and that caused the pronounced darkened areas.

Very happy with this result. It flirted with the 6 at various stages through the voting week, but never quite stayed there!
Next time I suppose.

only a 5.76 but 25th out of 111.

My highest at 5.58, I remain humble.

6.9844 score for a new PB... almost scored a ribbon, and if it weren't for the so called 'trolls', I would have broken the hallowed 7 (if only one of the 1 scores had not wasted their time giving me a 1, I would have broken 7 points) :{

Very happy to get a new personal best - not sure how I'm supposed to feel that it was due to copying someone else's concept though. Now to get an image in the 6's!

Woohoo! Blew my old personal best clear out of the water in the Architecture challenge. Jumped from a 5.2280 to a 6.4865 with this one.
I had just put 10 goals in my profile before the challenge, 7 of them challenge related and I knocked off 3 of them. Another 0.0135 and it would have been another 1 (maybe 2 if I reached the top 10%).
These are some outtakes from the same session. It's a beautiful building, I just wish the fountain was not under construction. I think the outtake with the staircase might have made a better shot if it was.

Can't beat the awesomeness of  JustCaree finish (4th - wow) but I'm very happy with my new PB. It's also my highest finish in a challenge and my first 6. :-D

Tied my highest place with 13th in Lucky 7. Thought I had a shot at my first top 10 for a while, but not quite. Oh well, someday maybe.

Only my 4th challenge, so getting a new personal best might not be that amazing, but it's my first image to break 6 and my first to be marked as a fave (twice!). Also, I've only ever had anyone give me a single "10" before, and this one got 4 of those. :)
Great challenge to shoot for and the images everyone submitted were great!
