I can just imagine what he is playing. "Kum by ya" is what I have in my head... |

could've been... but this was one of the Beatles songs, can't remember which one. We were at the Strawberry fields, in the Central park at the time. |

It is just like Steve to bring the wrong bag of equipment... |
Actually...I got my GTG's confused. I thought I was meeting people from a guitar site, that I frequently post on. Even with the mix up...I think I covered pretty well and the DPCers had no idea it was all a mistake. lolol
After seeing that picture of myself... my lifelong plan to be a member of one of those heartthrob Boy Bands, is now dashed. I always thought I had a shot in the role of the "quiet" "brooding" dude...you know, the one with the pieced ear and the white tank top... tough but sexy? That's all over...
See y'all later.

TRAVEL LIGHT... it's going to be hot. If there's any gear you don't absolutely need...leave it. You don't wanna be lugging stuff today...trust me, trust me, trust me.

Every single DPC member I have had to opportunity to meet this far has impressed me to no end, and this group I met in NYC most certainly did not disappoint.
Kudos to Pawdrix for assuming the "Maitre D" functions and ensuring to all functioned like a very well oiled machine...oh and that dinner was to die for by the way.
Thanks to all the members for their help with my camera problems and for exhibiting fantastic patience in waiting for a decrepid old man.
To all of those in attendance, thank you for a wonderful experience and I do hope we get to do this again real soon.

great stuff Skip! and Deb! and Sarah! Keep them coming!
this was near the end of our yesterday's hangout ("Bar 55", next door to the "Kettle of Fish")
this lady-singer was really wonderful, as was the whole experience. Thank you Steve so much! |

City Hall at Park Row, right at the mouth of the Brooklyn Bridge, 12 Noon.
We'll do less walking today, without question.
Skip - What an amazing set of images. I only took about 50 frames... and I'm grateful you did the opposite. Cheers! |

@pawdrix - thanks. If I come I will catch up with you!
@Skip "did the opposite" is quite the understatement! (did anybody get a picture of the camera on a pole?) |

Steve, Penny, Kelli, Lev (everyone who posted this morning) and everyone else at the NYC GTG. It looks like I'm not going to make it to City Hall / Brooklyn Bridge today. I hope you have a great time! It was really fun meeting everyone. Can't wait to see more photos. Cheers, |
